Wolfram General Chemistry Course Assistant App Reviews

I bought this expecting a tool to help me learn ap chemistry. The app is a great calculator to get homework done but offers little help as far as review and study are concerned. The app is useful for calculations, but now for learning.

Waste of $5. The interface isnt very intuitive. Considering this is just a modified interface for accessing wolfram alpha(or so it seems), it would be nice if it at least made things more accessible than within the regular wolfram alpha application. I couldnt tell that it did anything that couldnt be done with the regular wolfram alpha app. Its just a skin for it with limited features available. It wouldnt be too bad, but wolframs chemistry capabilities arent great. It has lots of information, but it doesnt do too great when you venture beyond surface level.

As others say, it is a calculation and info app. Will not teach you chemistry. If you need the former, like me, then this is the best 5 dollars youll spend!

this app is very perfect for high school students.

No other chem app provides this much value for five bucks, period.

I mainly got this app to balance equations quickly but when I tried to use this feature it failed to give me a response. It just showed "input interpretation" and nothing else . If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

I thought this app was going to be useful but it is not. The user interface is not great, and there is a lack of useful features. Ex: I couldnt find the option for this app to create Lewis structure of molecules. It only shows the electron configuration of single element. That is a joke! Also there is no option for predicting reactions which makes this app useless in my opinion.
